On Wednesday, March 18th, Antonio Candel Rives, the Councillor for Cemeteries, announced that the contract for building 112 niches in the Municipal Cemetery “Virgen de los Dolores” has been awarded. This is in line with the project that the Technical Office wrote and presented, which the Local Governing Board approved on September 29th, 2025.
After a simplified open process, the bidders who wanted to submitted their proposals. The best offer came from Aldaba Obras Reunidas SL, and the contract was awarded and signed for 78,571.82 euros. This will allow work to continue in the cemetery with the goal of continuing to invest in this space and improving conditions for the people of Crevillent.
The job can take up to three months to finish, starting from the day building begins.
