A court in Alicante has ordered that a man from the town of Pinoso, Alicante, be remanded in custody without bail. The suspect is under investigation for allegedly sedating and sexually assaulting his minor daughter.
The investigation was initiated after health professionals detected anomalies and raised the alarm, leading to the intervention of the authorities. According to judicial sources, the suspect allegedly used medication to sedate the young girl before committing the assaults inside the family home in Pinoso.
Following a detailed investigation by law enforcement, the man was arrested and brought before the judicial authorities in Alicante. Given the severity of the allegations, the risk of flight, and the necessity to protect the underage victim, the judge decreed his immediate imprisonment while the criminal trial is prepared.
