A man has died this morning, Wednesday 3rd June, following a head-on collision between two vehicles on the AP-7 motorway in Orihuela Costa.
The emergency services were alerted to the traffic accident at approximately 5:30 a.m. The collision occurred at the La Zenia toll plaza, in the lanes heading towards Cartagena.
According to initial reports, the two cars crashed head-on with fatal consequences for one of the motorists. One of the drivers passed away at the scene, whilst the driver of the other vehicle is not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
