The La Muixara pavilion in La Nucia is set to host the upcoming Absolute Spanish Weightlifting Championship on 20th and 21st June, according to an announcement made this Monday by the Royal Spanish Weightlifting Federation (RFEH).
The event will bring together 155 athletes from across the country, comprising 74 men and 84 women, along with approximately 90 coaches. This stands as the primary event on the national calendar for the discipline.
Over the course of two days, the championship will determine the absolute titles across the various weight categories.
The competition is scheduled to begin on Saturday 20th June at 09.00 hours and will continue on Sunday 21st June from the same time. Entry for spectators will be completely free of charge, and the entirety of the competition will be broadcast live through the federation’s official channels.
The official presentation of the sporting event will take place on Friday. The presentation will be attended by the general secretary of the Royal Spanish Weightlifting Federation, Juan Lama, the mayor of La Nucia and sports deputy, Bernabe Cano, and the municipal sports councillor, Sergio Villalba.
