The Villa España Hotel officially celebrated its grand opening on Friday, 26th June, in Benidorm, showcasing itself as one of the most unique projects by the Magic Hotel Group. The four-star establishment pays tribute to national heritage and incorporates the very first suspended swimming pool in Benidorm, alongside an overall concept deeply connected to culture, art, wellness and the Mediterranean.
Situated right next to the old town, the marina and Poniente Beach, the Villa España Hotel belongs to the Villas Gallery collection. This line of hotels focuses on providing experiences with their own distinct identity, designed around a harmony between relaxation, the surrounding environment and the cultural wealth of the destination.
Every single room within the hotel pays tribute to the heritage, identity and memory of a Spanish municipality, incorporating material elements, visual narratives and features inspired by different regions across the country. For instance, the Benidorm Room includes elements directly tied to the town, strengthening the connection between the hotel and the town hosting it.
The project blends physical spaces with digital content, on-site and multimedia art galleries, as well as immersive experiences linked to local identity, ranging from themed events to tastings inspired by various areas of Spain.
One of the major highlights of the establishment is its panoramic rooftop, a space that brings together VIP zones, signature cocktails, open views of the Mediterranean and the first suspended pool in Benidorm.
This location serves as a standout feature and is set to enhance the experiential tourism options within the town. From this space, the skyline, the beach and the old town come together in an experience designed for guests to enjoy Benidorm from a different height and at a different pace.
The opening event was attended by Rodrigo Arribas, the director of Villa España Hotel; Javier García, the vice-president of Magic Hotel Group; Tomás Fuertes, the president of Grupo Fuertes; Israel Martínez Fernández, the general director of Tourism for the Generalitat Valenciana; and Antonio Pérez Pérez, the mayor of Benidorm and president of the Provincial Council of Alicante.
The inauguration concluded with a wine reception at El Mercat, one of the gastronomic areas inside the hotel. Designed as a modernist-inspired bar, it combines tapas, a la carte dining and a menu designed for sharing, working in harmony with the urban, Mediterranean and welcoming atmosphere of the establishment.
With this opening, the Magic Hotel Group strengthens its commitment to Benidorm and to a style of hospitality capable of bringing innovation, culture and wellness together.
