A 71-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man were injured on Monday afternoon, 29th June, following a traffic accident on the CV-724 road, within the municipality of Denia, in the Alicante province. The incident occurred at around 4:00 pm, prompting the immediate deployment of emergency and medical services to assist the two occupants of the vehicle involved.
According to information provided by the Emergency Information and Coordination Centre (CICU), the accident took place on a section of the CV-724 near Denia, under circumstances that have not yet been specified. This particular road connects this area of the Marina Alta region with surrounding towns, meaning it regularly carries a significant volume of local and regional traffic.
An Intensive Care Ambulance (SAMU) and a Basic Life Support (SVB) unit were dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving the emergency alert. Their objective was to provide urgent medical assistance to the affected individuals and assess the severity of their injuries at the roadside.
