Two adults and two minors who were unable to return to the coast in their kayaks, because the current was carrying them out to sea, have been rescued by a Maritime Rescue vessel and transferred to Javea.
The rescue took place early yesterday morning, Sunday 19th July, when Maritime Rescue was alerted by the Generalitat Emergency services that two adults and two children, who were navigating in two separate kayaks, were failing to return to the coast.
Control staff mobilised the Salvamar Fenix vessel which, once it had rescued the four people, transferred them to Javea, according to information shared by Maritime Rescue on its official X account.
