The rabies identification and vaccination campaign is now underway in Elche. Running until 14th August 2026, the initiative is being held in collaboration with local veterinary clinics across the municipality, which are offering special prices to pet owners.
During the campaign, participating veterinary clinics will offer a health check and rabies vaccine for a price of 20 euro. For a comprehensive package including a health check, microchip, passport, and the vaccine, the price is set at 70 euro. Vaccination and identification are mandatory requirements for dogs, cats, and ferrets. Additionally, internal deworming against Echinococcus must be recorded annually in the pet’s passport.
