Torrevieja is preparing for its first major music festival this week as the Low Festival arrives this Friday, 31st July, at Antonio Soria Park. After fifteen years of being known for indie and Spanish-language rock in the province, the event brings three days of concerts by the Mediterranean Sea and the local salt flats.
The lineup features international heavyweights such as Kasabian, The Hives, and Editors headlining various nights, alongside a strong Spanish presence. Saturday brings one of the most anticipated moments as Love of Lesbian takes the stage for the final time on their farewell tour, making the Barcelona band a must-see for fans in Torrevieja.
Friday’s opening performances feature Fangoria, Iván Ferreiro, and León Benavente, supported by Ginebras, Veintiuno, and Ladilla Rusa to cater to multiple generations. The festival concludes on Sunday with performances from Dani Fernández, La Casa Azul, Sidonie, Natalia Lacunza, Barry B, Depresión Sonora, and Aiko el Grupo for a final Mediterranean summer night.
Organisers have arranged accessible transport options, including shuttle buses running to and from Alicante, Valencia, Murcia, Benidorm, Calpe, Cartagena, Crevillent, Dénia, Elche, Mazarrón, and Orihuela. Visitors driving to Torrevieja can access the venue directly from the AP-7 motorway, where free parking areas are available next to the site.
