A fire broke out in a detached house early yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 2nd September, in Torrevieja, affecting the second floor of the property located on Calle Santomera.
Upon arriving at the scene, emergency personnel from the Provincial Firefighters Consortium confirmed that nobody was inside the building. Consequently, no injuries were reported in the incident.
The property consists of three floors, with the fire originating on the middle level. The swift action of the emergency services successfully contained the flames to the second floor, preventing the fire from spreading to the rest of the villa.
The emergency response concluded shortly after 3:00 pm. The operation involved a sergeant, a corporal, and four firefighters from the Torrevieja station, alongside a Command and Control Unit and a Heavy Urban Pumper.
