The heated swimming pool in La Nucía has reopened its doors following a comprehensive refurbishment and modernisation of its facilities. The reopening was marked by an open day featuring various free activities, offering members of the public free access to both the swimming pools and gyms until 22:00. The day also served as the final opportunity for free registration and special discounts.
The sports facility is managed by the company Emtesport, which has carried out a major investment of 1.5 million euro to transform the complex into a new venue for sport, health, and community life.
During the morning, the facility director, Marc Uris, the CEO of Emtesport, Matzalen Laskibar, and the mayor of La Nucía, Bernabé Cano, conducted an official visit to the sports venue. They were joined on the tour by councillors from the local council.
