The Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja, through the Concejalía de Régimen Interior, has extended the operating hours of the Registro Municipal by introducing a new afternoon service every Tuesday, from 16:00 to 19:00, operating strictly by appointment.
The Councillor for Personal and Régimen Interior, María José Ruiz, explained that the measure is designed to assist residents who face difficulties visiting the town hall during standard morning hours due to working hours, lack of time, or health problems.
Under this new schedule, 50 appointments are made available each Tuesday across two distinct services. The first is the Registro General, dedicated exclusively to the submission of formal applications, written submissions, and documentation addressed either to municipal departments or other official bodies. The second service enables members of the public to obtain the Certificado Digital, which allows users to authenticate themselves electronically and carry out administrative procedures online.
The local authority highlighted that specific procedures for other municipal departments will not be dealt with during the Tuesday evening opening, meaning applicants must select the appropriate option when booking an appointment.
Furthermore, registration for Cl@ve Permanente is not available during these evening hours. That service falls under the remit of the PROP office of the Generalitat Valenciana, which continues to process such requests exclusively during morning opening times. Residents requiring Cl@ve Permanente registration must therefore visit the relevant office during its usual morning hours.
