A court in Dénia has agreed to the precautionary closure of a cannabis club in the town, where drugs were allegedly sold. The establishment was previously dismantled by the National Police during an operation that led to the arrest of six individuals aged between 22 and 50, comprising five men and one woman. They are accused of drug trafficking and membership of a criminal group for allegedly using the premises as a front to commercialise these substances.
Officers from the security force attended the establishment of the investigated association on 7th October to notify those present of the agreed judicial measure, as detailed by police sources this Thursday. In compliance with the judicial resolution, temporary closure and sealing of the facilities were carried out, alongside the cessation of all activity during the processing of the proceedings until a firm resolution is reached.
The police have explained that this precautionary measure has been adopted within the framework of the judicial procedure derived from the police investigation that enabled the dismantling of the association, which was allegedly used as a point of sale for drugs.
