The Vista Alegre promenade in Torrevieja will host the Torrevieja Maritime Market 2026 from Friday 23rd October to Sunday 25th October, bringing sea-inspired entertainment, music, and shows to the area across the weekend.
Organised as a joint initiative between the Torrevieja City Council Department of Commerce and Hospitality and the company La Fragua de Vulcano, the event will feature pirate characters, musical street parades, fire displays, and juggling performances. The market will host more than 50 exhibitors from across Spain selling handcrafted items, jewellery, and nautical decorations alongside food stalls, local products, and bar and restaurant areas.
The market opens on Friday at 6:00 pm, featuring “A Pirate to Watch Out For” with musical accompaniment, followed by “Blackbeard’s Secret”, the street parade “Echoes of Distant Ports”, and “Fire in the Bay” before closing for the evening. On Friday, trading runs from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Saturday offers the largest selection of activities across the morning and afternoon. Highlights include shows such as “A Pirate Adrift”, “Land Ahoy!”, “The Time Traveler”, and “A Lost Castaway”, alongside street performances and an evening juggling and fire show. On Saturday and Sunday, the market opens at 11:00 am, closing for lunch between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Trading finishes at 11:00 pm on Saturday.
Sunday continues the entertainment with musical performances including “Son de mareas”, “Secretos del océano”, “A ritmo de marea”, and “Los misterios del mar”. A farewell street parade will begin at 8:45 pm, concluding the shows before the final closing time at 10:00 pm.
