Young man rescued after falling down a ten-metre slope in Callosa de Segura, Alicante

Firefighters rescued a 21-year-old young man on Sunday, 25th October, after he fell down a slope with a drop of about ten metres at the Vía Ferrata in Callosa de Segura, Alicante. The accident happened during the descent from the Pico del Águila.

Due to a lack of light, the rescue was carried out by land, according to sources from the Provincial Fire Consortium. The male, who did not present serious injuries, was treated for his wounds. Following these events, a special rescue group and two fire engines from the Orihuela park were deployed.
