Centro Cultural Virgen Del Carmen
Description
The Virgen Del Carmen cultural centre, Centro Cultural Virgen Del Carmen, is located in Torrevieja, slightly outside what is considered the cultural centre, but still within walking distance from other venues, and is close to the Plaza de Oriente, and it does have a car park underneath.
Within an avant-garde space, designed by the architects Dorthe M. Gammerlgaard and Víctor Rodríguez Pertusa, we will find a multitude of cultural activities from different local groups taking place daily, including exhibitions, courses and workshops, conferences, plays, and concerts.
The centre has both an exhibition hall and an auditorium with a capacity for 320 people, in addition, this centre is the permanent headquarters of postgraduate courses and masters of the Miguel Hernández University.
