ORIHUELA STREET CLOSURES FOR PROTEST MARCH

On Wednesday the 26th of March, various streets in the city of Orihuela will be closed to traffic, in order for a protest march against the LOMCE education reform to take place.

The main route will be between the Glorieta Gabriel Miró, and San Antón, which will see closures between 11:00 and 14:00, although diversions will be in place, this is the heart of the city centre and disruption to traffic flow is expected.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
