The Councillor of Commerce, Agustina Esteve, said last week that the city of Torrevieja has just released for public auction a total of seven vacant pitches on the Indoor Municipal Market "La Plasa" for a concessionary period of seven years.
Possible businesses that can be traded on these market stalls range from butchery, fishmonger, greengrocer, in all a total of 19 different activities.
They say that this new auction, which they expect to be well contested, is just one more way of energizing and revitalizing the Central Market area.
The Councillor said that applications can now be made to the Department of Commerce, the closing deadline being 15 September where she says the economic circumstances of the family unit, and a company business plan will be assessed.
