Torrevieja’s Councillor for Tourism, Luis María Pizana said that of all the Tourist Offices located in the town the main office, situated in the Paseo Vista Alegre has dealt with almost 60% of all the visitors to Torrevieja during the holiday months.
This would appear to be due mainly to its central location and its long opening hours, 9am to 8pm weekdays and 10am to 2pm Saturday’s and holidays.
The temporary office at Playa del Cura, which opens daily from 10am to 2pm and again 5pm to 9pm, has handled 5,086 (30%) of the numbers and will remain open to the public until September 7.
The La Mata Office, located in the Town Hal, which opens for half days, served a total of 1,683 visitors.
No figures were available, he said, for the information desk located on the ground floor of the Town Hall of Torrevieja, which also offers administrative information.
