Spanish car manufacturer SEAT has rolled out its five millionth Ibiza vehicle from its Barcelona factory in Martorell.
Now a subsidiary of the Volkswagen group, SEAT also celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, which the company highlighted during the Paris Motor Show, showcasing the first Seat Ibiza model released in 1984.
Although much has changed over the years, the Ibiza has become the company´s bestselling model, with 70% of them, a total of 3.5 million units, exported from Spain to a total of 75 countries.
Currently, the automotive company manufactures 700 Ibiza models every day from their factory wich employs 1,600 workers and 700 robots.
