Following her election of Torrevieja’s new ‘Queen of Salt’ Ainara Antelo, was accompanied to the Town Hall by her two bridesmaids Marta Miguel and Stephanie Veri, where the trio took the opportunity to meet mayor, Eduardo Dolon, along with councilor Lola Sanchez.
They were received in the plenary hall where they were congratulated by the city officials.
The three young torrevejenses were then presented with their chains of office, the gold pendants that identify their positions, as well as a famous Torrevieja salt boat that has now become the norm as far local gratitudes are concerned.
Each of the young ladies said how delighted they were to receive their nomination and agreed to represent Torrevieja for the next twelve month period to the best of their abilities.
Eduardo Dolon stressed that it would be a very important year for them, with a busy schedule of events, especially in the coming days, with the celebration of the Immaculate Conception.
After posing in the plenary hall the three were then given their agendas by the outgoing salt queen, Saray Sánchez, ahead of the conclusion of the festivities of La Purisima.
