For many years crowds of revellers have congregated on La Zenia beach on Christmas day in the morning. Last year thanks to torrential rain and cold temperatures there were only a few brave souls on the beach that day.
As always JB Brass were there to entertain the crowd with Christmas Carols, Christmas tunes like Slades’ Merry Christmas Everybody.
The band were accompanied by the members of the Torrevieja Costa Lions Club who gratefully accepted donations from those who braved the atrocious weather, to help those most in need in Torrevieja and surrounding towns and villages.
So this Christmas Day, with the weather set to be fair with perhaps a slight chill in the air, get out your festive wear, hats and scarves and join the throng on La Zenia beach. Mince pies, cava, and barbecues abound. Join JB Brass and the Lions on the beach and fill your lungs with fresh air and sing along with the band, before returning home or your local hostelry for Christmas Dinner.
