Drug Recall Notice – Euritox 88

The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS), has issued a recall notice for a range of drugs manufactured by Merck SA.

The drug, Levothyroxine Sodium, is marketed under the brand name Euritox 88 in tablet form and the recall notice covers lots numbered M43009, M43012, M43015, M43016, M43017 and M43018 acquired before May 27 this year, and with a dated expiration of February 28, 2017.

The labels on the drugs display Euritox 25 mcg, whereas it should display the amount of 88 mcg.

You can return the drugs to the point of purchase for a replacement or refund.
