The Valencia regional government is investing almost 100,000 euro in three groups aimed at promoting the area´s family, food and activity values.
A grant of 35,000 euro is going to the Turismo Familiar de la Comunitat Valenciana, an association which creates and promotes activities for families. Their funding will be used for the production of literature and publicity to promote the “diversity” of the region´s destinations.
In addition, the tourism board has granted 30,000 euro to promote the Valencia region as a gastronomic destination, particularly to support the third “Gastrovegabaja” fair, which will be held in September.
Finally, another 30,000 euro has been granted to the Asociación Comunitat Valenciana Activa who will promote activity tourism.
