The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has reported a total of 913 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests since the last update. The new cases by province are 120 in Castellón (189,222 in total), 302 in Alicante (523,949 in total) and 491 in Valencia (826,208 in total).
Of these, 478 are from people over 60 years of age. By provinces: 61 from Castellón, 159 from Alicante and 258 from Valencia.
Valencian hospitals currently have 678 people admitted for COVID-19, of which 45 are in the ICU: 111 in the province of Castellón, 7 in the ICU; 217 in the province of Alicante, 9 of them in the ICU, and 350 in the province of Valencia, 29 in the ICU.
There have been 31 coronavirus deaths reported since the last update, all with a death date in the last 7 days. They are 13 women, between 63 and 97 years old, and 18 men, between 53 and 99 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 9,932: 1,173 in the province of Castellón, 3,790 in Alicante and 4,969 in Valencia.
