Torrevieja Property Fraudsters in Court

The trial has begun against two estate agents who are accused of fraud whilst selling property in Torrevieja.

The Prosecutor provisionally asked for three years in prison for a crime of fraud for the pair accused of deceiving a couple in the purchase of two homes in Torrevieja.

In July 2018, the victims decided to buy the two houses, after being advised by the defendants.

The Prosecutor’s Office maintains that the real estate agents kept 187,000 euro from the buyers, and did not use the funds to pay for the homes.

The much awaited La Siesta park in Torrevieja opened on Saturday, with many people attending the event to check out some of the leisure and pleasure facilities now available in this popular area of Torrevieja. The La Siesta park features all kinds of sports pitches, for football, basketball, hockey, and more, as well as the largest paved pump track in the world, according to the town hall. Torrevieja Pump Track Grand Opening
It's been a long time coming, but the La Siesta Skate Park is due to open this week with the inauguration set for Saturday 16 March at 11:00 a.m. The park contains many different facilities for different sports modalities, and there's seating around the entire area.
