The National Police have broken up a big drug-dealing ring in Benidorm. Police arrested a 43-year-old couple who were running a cocaine store out of a business that was open to the public. They sold small amounts of drugs from this legitimate business in the town’s English-themed entertainment zone. Police say that the man and woman who were arrested also used their own residence to store the drugs.
The investigation started after a lot of people said they had seen this drug-selling site, which made others in the area feel unsafe because so many people were using it. Police watched and followed up on these reports to make sure they were true.
After looking into things at the scene, the police established that the defendant and his partner were reportedly selling drugs. In addition, his house had been utilised to store and prepare the drugs for subsequent sale.
After it was verified that this drug store existed, police searched the primary suspect’s residence and the store itself. Because of what they did, the police took 64 grams of cocaine, €4,440 in cash, an air rifle, and a car.
Two other individuals were also arrested: the man being investigated and his partner, who are both accused of drug trafficking and having guns without permission. After the police had finished their work, the people who had been arrested were taken to see the duty magistrates in Benidorm.
