Once again, he was incarcerated in Alicante for unlawful firearm possession, but he was released. Jonathan Alan S., a Northern Irishman, was arrested this week by the National Police in Alicante. He is accused of fatally shooting his compatriot John George Hardy twice in Rojales and has been free on €100,000 bail since last December for this murder. Jonathan is accompanied by his wife, 20-year-old British OnlyFans model Madison V. The couple was initially subject to an investigation for drug trafficking; however, the arrest was ultimately for unlawful possession of firearms after the police confiscated two pistols and a sawed-off shotgun.
The Northern Irishman even produced a firearm and pointed it at the officers who apprehended him while he was operating a van in the Moralet district of Alicante, where the couple resided.
The Scientific Police will evaluate the condition of the three firearms and determine whether any of them have been previously employed in a criminal offence, such as the murder of John George, for which he is being accused, and the gun used was not located.
At the court’s disposal
Yesterday, the two detainees were brought before the duty judge in Alicante after spending three nights in the cells of the Provincial Police Station. They were both released on bail after appearing in court, with the assistance of attorneys Francisco Miguel Galiana Botella and Alicia Grau Córdoba.
The Narcotics Group of the North District Police Station apprehended the couple in Alicante last Wednesday, March 18th . Jonathan, 28, and Maddison were under investigation for potential drug trafficking involvement.
Maddison was also released on parole of €20,000 after the Guardia Civil apprehended her in Torrevieja last September. She was found in possession of nearly a kilogram of methamphetamine (crystal meth) in a vehicle. In December, she was apprehended once more in Orihuela Costa, this time in a vehicle with two other individuals. The Civil Guard confiscated two primed pistols. Also in January, she was accused with manslaughter for causing a fatal traffic accident.
Jonathan’s Star 9mm pistol was confiscated during the arrest. Subsequently, a search of his rented home in Moralet yielded a sawn-off shotgun, a disassembled revolver, a bulletproof vest, a balaclava, two gloves, a 31-round magazine, 100 9mm cartridges, 19 short 9mm cartridges, a switchblade, and a large knife under his bed.
Jonathan was wearing a bulletproof vest as a precautionary measure following the assassination of the other accused in the Rojales crime in Torrevieja on March 1st. Sources familiar with the case provided this information.
The officers who were following the couple were aware that Jonathan was armed and decided to intervene when they observed him having a heated argument with his wife in the vehicle. The investigators elected to make the arrests due to his criminal record and the fact that he had a restraining order from a previous partner.
