In Valencia, the National Police arrested three German tourists between the ages of 21 and 24 for tossing firecrackers in their hotel room and on the street, where they hit passersby.
The arrests happened last Wednesday, March 11th, at about 6 p.m., in the heart of the Fallas celebrations, at a hotel near the old Turia riverbed. This region has seen past problems with international tourists setting off fireworks without permission.
The young Germans were arrested for causing damage and making trouble in public.
The Superior Police Headquarters of the Valencian Community reported that his room had a lot of illegal or unauthorised fireworks, so the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Specialists (TEDAX) had to come in and do an inventory of the items.
