The Ministry of Health will open beach medical clinics this summer to provide healthcare to the influx of tourists in the Alicante province. These seasonal centres will be active in several coastal municipalities, ensuring medical attention is available close to the sand.
Among the towns benefiting from the service is El Campello, which will have a clinic located in Muchavista. In the municipality of Santa Pola, emergency and family medicine services will be provided at the Casa del Mar, alongside a specific clinic in Gran Alacant. Further north, the town of Denia will see the opening of a medical post on the Les Marines beach.
Additionally, the municipality of Orihuela will have healthcare reinforcements operating on the Orihuela Costa. Other locations included in the regional health planning for the summer season are the municipalities of Guardamar del Segura, Torrevieja, and Benidorm, which will all see their medical services strengthened to cope with the holiday population.
