A vehicle fire has been causing significant traffic disruption on the AP-7 motorway since 08:51 this morning, Thursday 9th July. The incident is affecting the route as it passes through El Campello in the direction of Benidorm, according to the Directorate General of Traffic.
The fire has resulted in traffic jams stretching for three kilometres in the immediate area. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving along this stretch of the motorway and to pay close attention to all road signs and instructions provided by the emergency services.
