Firefighters in Orihuela successfully extinguished a blaze that broke out this morning, Saturday 25th July, in the storage room of a residential property on Calle Virgen de Monserrate, Orihuela.
The emergency services received the call at 9:15 a.m., reporting fire and smoke inside the building. Two crews from the Orihuela fire station, including a Heavy Urban Pumper and a Command Headquarters Unit, were swiftly dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters located the fire in the washing machine area of the storage space and immediately worked to bring the flames under control, preventing them from spreading to other parts of the house.
The intervention lasted approximately 45 minutes, concluding at around 10:00 a.m. once the fire was fully extinguished and the accumulated smoke had been cleared through ventilation. No injuries were reported, and no residents required medical attention during the incident.
