The Brilla Torrevieja festival has concluded its sixth edition after welcoming a total of 25,000 spectators across its concert series, establishing itself as a key cultural and live music fixture of the Costa Blanca summer season. The event transformed the municipality into a gathering point for visitors travelling from various Spanish regions as well as international destinations across Europe.
The final performance of the festival featured Leiva, who played to an audience of 15,000 people. Marking his only concert in the Comunitat Valenciana and the Región de Murcia for 2026, the show served as his final live appearance before taking a temporary break from the stage.
International visitors made up a notable part of the crowd, with concertgoers arriving from the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, alongside audiences from various autonomous communities across Spain. The broad draw of attendees reinforced the event’s cultural and tourism link with Torrevieja throughout the peak holiday period.
Staged across four separate dates at the Parque Antonio Soria, the festival presented a wide range of musical genres. The schedule launched with JC Reyes and La Trend Fest, catering to younger crowds and modern music trends. This was followed by Brilla Remember, focusing on dance and electronic anthems from the 1990s and 2000s. The lineup also featured the Golden Experience, bringing K-Pop fans from across Spain to Torrevieja, before concluding with the headline performance by Leiva.
Beyond the stage performances, the event layout in Torrevieja included designated public areas, food trucks, and a diverse culinary offering. The influx of visitors provided a direct boost to local businesses, including hospitality, restaurants, shops, and holiday accommodation.
Following the completion of its sixth edition, organisers have already started planning for next year, aiming to expand the festival’s footprint across the Mediterranean live music circuit.
