The Torrevieja Sports Department at Torrevieja Town Hall has announced that the Torrevieja International Half Marathon and the 10K race have been postponed until 2027.
This decision has been prompted by various construction works currently being carried out across the town, as well as an extensive resurfacing plan taking place along a large portion of the scheduled route for both sporting events.
The Sports Department is continuing its efforts to ensure that the next edition can take place in 2027 with maximum guarantees for safety and organisation, while delivering the best possible event for all participants.
Torrevieja Town Hall has expressed its regret for any inconvenience this postponement may cause to runners, athletic clubs, and fans, thanking everyone for their understanding regarding a decision taken to ensure the proper running of this major sporting occasion.
The new date for the events and all further details concerning the 2027 edition will be shared shortly through official channels.
