Zenia Boulevard shopping centre in Orihuela Costa is celebrating its 14th anniversary throughout September with a full programme of free cultural events, family activities, competitions, and a major closing party. Managed by Nhood and owned by Ceetrus and CBRE Investment Management, the venue is running the celebrations under the slogan “14 years of history, 14 years with you” to thank the millions of visitors who have frequented the complex since its opening.
The entertainment schedule begins on 12 September with the Sunset Ballet Gala in the Plaza Mayor. The open-air performance will bring together classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballet, featuring excerpts from works such as Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. The production features a guest appearance by José Antonio Robles, performing alongside professional dancers and emerging performers from the Región de Murcia.
Family activities are also scheduled, centring on the birthday of the centre’s mascots, Zimbo and Peludo. The event includes an afternoon of children’s games, music, dancing, and entertainment, alongside an eight-challenge family gymkhana designed to test skills across all age groups. The celebration will conclude with a meet and greet session where children can pose for photographs with the mascots.
The programme culminates on 26 September with the Non-stop Party. The event will feature DJ Nono and his dancers, a roaming brass band (charanga), stilt walkers, glitter makeup stations, special promotions, and giveaways. The afternoon will also include special visual effects and confetti displays across the centre’s open-air walkways.
Alongside the live performances, a customer promotion runs from 12 to 27 September. Visitors who accumulate purchases of at least 50 euro can take part in a scratch and win initiative, with prizes including Zenia Boulevard gift cards, limited-edition 14th anniversary mugs, and refreshments across the venue’s dining outlets.
