Guardia Civil investigate possible poisoning of a minor after drinking in Javea

The Guardia Civil are investigating the possible poisoning of a minor after she consumed a drink served to her in an establishment in the municipality of Javea.

According to sources from the armed institute, the incident took place on Wednesday, 16th September, at around 3:00 pm. Following the incident, the young girl was transferred and admitted to hospital.

Officers from the Guardia Civil have seized the container that held the drink, alongside other products from the same batch and brand, as a preventive measure. An investigation remains open to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the event.
