Torrevieja is getting ready to host a special edition of the Street Food Market, bringing together live music, gastronomy, design and craft stalls. The Parque de las Naciones will host the event from this Thursday until next Monday, coinciding with the 9th October regional holiday and the 12th October national holiday.
One of the main highlights of this final edition of the year will be live music. The programme kicks off on Thursday 8th October with an opening party featuring a performance by Tam Tam Go! at 21:30. The band, known for Spanish pop-rock from the late 1980s and 1990s, arrives in Torrevieja with a repertoire including popular tracks such as Espaldas Mojadas, Voy cruzando el río and Atrapados en la red.

The schedule continues on Friday 9th October with a Queen tribute act, Keeng, at 13:30, followed by Días de Radio at 21:30. On Saturday 10th October, a U2 tribute act, The Fly, takes the stage at 13:30, while the evening performance at 21:30 features indie music. Sunday 11th features an 1980s music tribute at 13:30 and a Cuban night at 21:30. Finally, on Monday 12th October, the stage hosts a Rolling Stones tribute act, Control Stone, from 13:00.
Childrens activities will run alongside the music every day from 12:00, designed for families, neighbours and visitors to enjoy throughout each day. The design market forms another key element of this edition, featuring exhibitors and creators offering products linked to design, craft, fashion and creativity, complementing the food truck offerings.
This final appointment of the year for the Street Food Market in Torrevieja runs from 8th to 12th October at the Parque de las Naciones with free entry. A website, alacantstreetmarket.com, provides further details regarding the event.
