The fourth edition of the “Ciudad de Torrevieja” football tournament, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Sports City from today, October 9th, 10th, and 11th, has been postponed. According to an announcement by the Torrevieja Town Council, the event will now be held in December 2026, with exact dates to be announced shortly.
Organised by the Department of Social Welfare and Pangea, alongside the company Maigmo Servicios S.L. and with the collaboration of the Sports Department, the initiative aims to bring together teams from twelve countries. The core message of the event remains “Integration through Sport”, focusing on promoting coexistence, mutual respect, and community building among the diverse populations living in Torrevieja.
The local council has confirmed that it will release further details regarding the definitive match schedule and new dates through its official municipal channels as soon as they are finalised. The administration continues to show strong support for this social and sporting event, which uses football to encourage civic participation and integration.
