Zenia Boulevard is set to welcome the festive season with its traditional Christmas lights switch-on and a special Black Friday rewards campaign for shoppers. Managed by Nhood and owned by Ceetrus and CBRE Investment Management, the shopping centre in Orihuela Costa has announced a packed November schedule featuring family entertainment, retail promotions, urban culture, and local gastronomy.
On Saturday 14 November, the shopping centre will host its official Christmas lights switch-on event, titled “Enciende la Navidad”. The musical production is designed for families and will feature music, dance performances, festive characters, and surprises. The celebration will culminate with the illumination of the lights, followed by a parade through the streets of Zenia Boulevard featuring artists, dancers, and the centre’s mascots, Zimbo and Peludo.
Cristina Ros, director of the shopping centre, noted that the switch-on is one of the most anticipated moments of the year, combining seasonal excitement with a Black Friday campaign that rewards customer loyalty and allows visitors to get ahead on their Christmas shopping.
The second major event of the month is the Black Friday retail campaign, which will run across five days on 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29 November. During these dates, customers who present their purchase receipts can win gift cards worth up to 250 euro, subject to the campaign conditions.
November’s agenda also highlights local gastronomy with a dedicated honey event on Saturday 7 November, where visitors can take part in a tasting session to discover different varieties and production methods. As a special promotion, shoppers who spend 50 euro or more during the day will receive a jar of local honey as a gift, while stocks last.
Urban culture takes centre stage on Saturday 21 November with the Zenia Breaking Battle, a two-versus-two break dance competition for young dancers from across the province. Participants will compete for a first prize of 400 euro and a second prize of 150 euro, showcasing technical skill and improvisation before a specialist panel. The competition is open to participants aged 15 and over with prior registration.
The month concludes on Sunday 29 November with a free children’s musical theatre production titled “Los Locos Exploradores”. The performance follows two explorers on a quest to find a lost temple, encountering comedic challenges and riddles along the way.
