Playa de los Locos, or the “crazy” beach, is one of the most popular in Torrevieja and is located between Punta del Salaret and Cala del Palangre.

Most of its surface is made up of sand, although it also has some 200 metres of coastal rock, where stairs have been provided to facilitate access and exit to the sea in this section.

In addition to the different restaurants that exist along Av. Dr. Mariano Ruiz Cánovas, the beach also has a beach bar, an area with hammocks and umbrellas, children's games, and aquatic recreation.

The beach has facilities for those with reduced mobility, including an amphibious chair, but this service is only provided between July and August, and only when the green flag is flying.
