SUSPECTED EBOLA CASE IN ALICANTE

The Department of Health implemented a safety protocol on Saturday, after a suspect case of Ebola was found in a patient in Alicante General Hospital.

The man, of African origin, was transferred by police escort to the Hospital de Sant Joan d’Alacant, the medical centre established to deal with emergencies such as this.

The area where he will be treated is now closed off with medics attending in protective suits.
