Local light heavyweight boxer Ricky Pow was in action on Friday night in Valladolid in a top of the bill contest against Eugen Stan.
This was Ricky’s first outing since his defeat in Gran Canaria last May against Spanish number 1 Gabriel Campillo and he showed no signs of any hangover as he battled his way to a six round points victory against the Romanian.
Cornerman and former Flyweight world champion, Kiko Martinez, described the win as a great victory against a very durable opponent who took extensive punishment.
