Karlos Bernabé was elected as the mayoral candidate for Cambiemos Orihuela for the upcoming municipal elections. With an 84% participation rate this was the first list elected by the citizens of Orihuela entirely through open primaries.
On Saturday 28 March, the primary process that determined the electoral list which Cambiemos Orihuela will present in the upcoming Municipal Elections came to a close. The coalition brings together the Green Party (Los Verdes), United Left (Izquierda Unida) and independent persons with the common goal of citizen participation and a transparent democracy.
Karlos Bernabé, Lic. Psychology, is Cambiemos Orihuela’s candidate for Mayor. Second on our list is Marta Guillén, architect, third, Manu Mazón, Lic. Audiovisual Communication; fourth, Ester Romero, journalist and Orihuela Costa resident; fifth, Javier Gracia, business owner; and sixth, Pascuala Sandoval, teacher.
The list was ratified at the 10th Assembly of Cambiemos Orihuela held on Monday 30 March in the Maria Moliner Public Library. The list of candidates will be officially presented the week of April 5.
