Figures released this week show that Spain received 10.6 million foreign tourists in the first quarter of the year, an increase of 5.3% over the same period of 2014, with an additional 500,000 people visiting the country.
The British and Asian markets have shown the largest growth in absolute terms, according to the Frontur survey released by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism on Wednesday.
