AHSA DENOUNCE ERECTION OF HOARDINGS IN HONDO

The boards are locates in a wetlands protected area

The Environmental Group ‘La Asociación de Amigos de los Humedales del Sur de Alicante (AHSA), has filed a denuncia with SEPRONA, the Servicio de Protección de la Naturaleza de la Guardia Civil about the existence of two advertising boards along the Hondo de Amorós in San Fulgencio, a wetlands protected area.

The conservation group says that it first made the complaint to the Ministry of Environment in January 2014 and received a response in March of that year indicating that he matter was being dealt with. However the hoardings still remain in place which the environmentalists say is unbelievable, a sign of “intolerable indifference by the agency”.

The group also said that in this area there are other similar boards in the Sierra del Molar in Elche about which they have filed a second complaint. They say that the boards belong to the same advertising company."
