Tragedy as Toddler Killed by Mother in Parking Incident

A 21-month-old girl has died after being run over by a vehicle driven by her mother when was carrying out a parking manoeuvre in Guadalajara.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening when the mother was parking her car on calle Constitución de Guadalajara in a car park near to the Alvar Fáñez de Minay college.

The child was initially taken to a clinic in the city and later transferred in an ICU at Niño Jesús Hospital in Madrid, where she tragically died on Sunday.

An investigation has been launched by the Local Police of Guadalajara who are reporting to the Judicial and Scientific sector of the National Police.
