The Department of Education, Culture and Sports has announced grants to finance remodelling and construction of social premises of the musical societies of the Valencian Community in 2022. This call is made through the advance processing formula.
For this purpose, 1,100,000 euro are allocated, which will be distributed as follows: 750,000 euro for remodelling and rehabilitation works, reform, improvement, adaptation and modernisation of social premises in existing spaces and their facilities, and 350,000 euro for construction, expansion and fitting out of new spaces for social venues.
Applications will only be accepted that include investment projects whose material execution budget does not exceed 85,000.00 euro, and whose investments are executed as of January 1, 2022.
The aid is intended for private non-profit entities that, being legally constituted, have among their social purposes the dissemination, promotion or dissemination and teaching of music, and carry out at least the following artistic and training activities on a permanent basis: support of a non-professional instrumental group, either band or orchestra; support of a music school or school for students directly or through supra-municipal groups, or, failing that, actively collaborate in the integration of young musicians into their instrumental ensemble as an activity aimed at their musical training.
The deadline for submitting applications will be one month from the day following the publication of this call resolution in the ‘Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana’.
