The Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre Hosts the Catan National Qualifying Tournament

The Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre, managed by Nhood, will host this Saturday, April 22, the national qualifying tournament of Catan. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the board game manufacturer Devir.

Participation in the tournament is free and open to all audiences from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The minimum age to participate is at least 10 years old. Each Qualifying Tournament will award between 1 and 3 places, depending on the registered participation that can be made on the official DEVIR website in the Agenda area. The Catan final will take place on July 8 in Madrid.

Catan was designed by Klaus Teuber in 1995 and winner of the Spiel des Jahres and is considered the game that modernised this playful modality. It works with a trading system, where players can trade cards from their hand to each other to build roads, towns and cities.
