Torrevieja town hall has published the first information about events in Torrevieja during the autumn and winter of 2023.
The latest quarterly cultural program runs from September to December 2023, and will include discounts for pensioners, children and young people. There will be discounts again for retirees, and Youth Day for those under 35 years of age with a special discount on the first Friday of the month. On the other hand, infants between 3 and 8 years old have discounts on various activities, while children under 3 years old still do not have to pay the entrance fee.
Those of an adult and working age, tough look for you, you have to pay full price for everything.
In September the VIII edition of Torrevieja Audiovisual will take place, this festival aims to value the Spanish short film and be an opportunity for new cinematographic talents. Music will be very present this month, through the celebration of Rock Against Cancer, the performance of the Valencian Community Orchestra in Torrevieja, the Santina Folk Festival, the Monfortina Choir Meeting, and the Salerosos Concert, in addition to the III Cycle of Music in the Park by the Chamber Group. On the other hand, for those who prefer a great story to be told through music, comes the Aladdin the Musical. Finally, those who love humour also have their place this month with the intervention of the monologue by Miguel Lago.
Events in Torrevieja in October will include the Exhibition of the Quick Painting Contest to the Presentation of the Autumn Magazine, and a Women’s Bodybuilding Competition. October is characterised by the diversity of artistic activities. In addition, on a religious level, the 50th Anniversary of the Coronation of the Sacred Heart is celebrated.
November is the month of song and opera, with performances such as Don Giovanni, the Habaneras Contest for Lyrical Soloists, the JOST Concert, and Torrevieja Sabe Cantar. In addition, Science Week will take place on the 8th of this month.
December lands more Christmassy than ever, with the classic Christmas Concert, as well as numerous theatrical performances: A Round Trip Husband, The Hidden Sound, A Christmas Carol and The Nutcracker.
