Fire Fighters Extinguish Torrevieja Boat Fire

A fire on a leisure boat moored in Torrevieja harbour sparked alarm on Wednesday, when thick black smoke could be seen for miles billowing from the craft.

Fire fighters were quick to the scene and doused the boat with foam, preventing the spread, subsequently reporting only material damage.

This is the second such incident recently in the area.
